Cathedral of Evangelismos
Cathedral of Evangelismos, or the Holy Cathedral Church of the Annunciation of the Theotokos, is a Greek Orthodox cathedral located in the city of Alexandria in Egypt. The foundation stone of the cathedral was laid in 1847 by the Greek Orthodox Patriarch of Alexandria, Hierotheus II of Alexandria, and it was officially inaugurated a few years later in 1856. The cathedral was restored in 2004 and 2006.
