بعيداً عن أنظار المارة في أعماق منطقة بحري تحديداً في شارع التوسيلي يقع منزل أحد الشخصيات الهامة التي عاشت في الإسكندرية قديماً والذي لا يوجد عنه معلومات كثيرة إلا من سكان المنطقة أو السجلات الحكومية وهو الخيار الأصعب للوصول إليه.
وسجل البيت في قوائم التراث لكنه مهمل ؛ ويتكون المنزل من طابقين ، وله بابين أحدهما منقوش عليه اسم خديوي مصر "محمد توفيق ١٣١٧ م" ، والآخر نقش عليه اسم مالك البيت "مفتي الجزائرلي ١٩٠٠م" كما قال أحد ساكني المنطقة ، ويحوي البيت على بدروم ، ويوجد نقوش على لوحتين معلقتين في الدور الثاني لكنهما غير واضحتين ؛ ولقد تهدم جزء من سقف البيت في الأيام القليلة الماضية بسبب مياه الأمطار .

Hidden from the public eye, deep within the Bahari district, specifically on Al-Tawsil Street, lies the house of a prominent figure who once lived in Alexandria. Little information exists about it, except from local residents or government records, which is the most difficult option to access.
The house is registered as a heritage site but is neglected. It consists of two floors and has two doors. One door is inscribed with the name of the Khedive of Egypt, Muhammad Tawfiq (1317 AD), and the other with the name of the homeowner, Mufti Al-Jazairi (1900 AD), according to a local resident. The house also has a basement. There are inscriptions on two plaques hanging on the second floor, but they are not clearly legible. Part of the roof collapsed in recent days due to rainwater.
