في مدينة الإسكندرية، وبالتحديد بجانب محطة ترام كامب شيزار، موجود واحدة من أقدم دور العرض السينمائي، وهي سينما أوديون، واللي اتأسست سنة 1940. السينما دي كانت مشهورة في بدايتها بعرض الكثير من الأفلام منها الأفلام الهندية، وده كان بيميزها عن باقي السينمات وقتها.

لكن مع مرور الوقت، الإقبال الجماهيري قل، واتحولت السينما لـ قاعة أفراح، وفي النهاية اضطرت إنها تقفل أبوابها نهائيًا بسبب قلة الحضور.

رغم النهاية دي، تفضل سينما أوديون جزء من تاريخ الإسكندرية الفني، وشاهد على زمن كانت فيه المدينة رائدة في صناعة السينما
