اتولد عادل أدهم يوم 8 مارس 1928 في حي الجمرك البحري بمدينة الإسكندرية. كان والده موظف كبير في الحكومة، ووالدته تركية الأصل. من صغره كان بيحب الرياضة، خصوصًا الجمباز والسباحة، لكن والده رفض دخوله التمثيل، فقرر يركز في الرياضة، وفعلاً بقى بطل جمهورية في الجمباز.
🎭 وكانت أول تجربة ليه في السينما سنة 1945، لما ظهر كراقص في فيلم "ليلى بنت الفقراء" لكنه حس إن الدور مش مناسب لطموحه، فانسحب من المجال الفني لفترة، واشتغل في بورصة القطن، وهناك بقى "مليونير" وهو عنده "26" سنة لكن بعد ما البورصة اتأممت، خسر كل حاجة، ووقتها قرر يرجع لحلمه الأول: التمثيل. بدايته الحقيقية كانت سنة 1964 بفيلم "هل أنا مجنونة؟" ومن بعدها سطع نجمه في أفلام كتير زي 🎬 :

اتعرف بأدوار الشر المركبة، وكان دايمًا بيضيف عمق نفسي للشخصيات اللي بيقدمها. صوته المميز ونظراته اللي تحيرك خلوه من أكتر النجوم تأثيرًا في تاريخ السينما المصرية و اشتغل مع كبار المخرجين والنجوم واتكرم في مهرجانات كتير، وكان دايمًا فنان مثقف وفاهم أدواته.

The Prince of Egyptian Cinema: Adel Adham ✨🎬
Adel Adham was born on March 8, 1928, in the Bahary Gomrok district of Alexandria. His father was a high-ranking government official, and his mother was of Turkish origin. From a young age, he loved sports, especially gymnastics and swimming. However, his father refused to let him pursue acting, so he decided to focus on sports—and he actually became the national gymnastics champion.
🎭 His first experience in cinema came in 1945, when he appeared as a dancer in the film "Laila, the Daughter of the Poor". But he felt the role didn’t match his ambitions, so he stepped away from the artistic scene for a while and worked in the cotton stock exchange. There, he became a millionaire at the age of 26. However, after the nationalization of the stock exchange, he lost everything. That’s when he decided to return to his first dream: acting.
His true breakthrough came in 1964 with the film "Am I Crazy?", and from then on, his star shone in many films such as 🎬:

He became famous for playing complex villain roles, always adding psychological depth to the characters he portrayed. He passed away on February 9, 1996, after a battle with cancer. Yet he remains alive in the hearts of his audience, leaving behind a rich legacy full of creativity and unforgettable performances.
