رحلتنا اليوم إلي واحدة من أهم وأبرز معالم الإسكندرية...رحلتنا إلي حدائق الشلالات التي بناها مصمم الحدائق الأمريكي "فريدريك لو أولمستد" عام 1899 وسميت بهذا الاسم نسبة إلي الشلالات الصناعية التي كانت بها حيث أقيمت علي مساحة 40فدانا منها 22 في الشلالات البحرية و18 في الشلالات القبلية
وتقع حدائق الشلالات عند بداية شارع فؤاد بمدينة الإسكندرية الحي اللاتيني أحد أرقي أحياء الإسكندرية بالقرب من باب شرق
كما أنها تحوي علي بقايا أبراج ،صهاريج، وسور الإسكندرية فأعلن تقسيم الحديقة إلي 5 مناطق تحمل أسماء عدد من أعلام الفن والثقافة بالإسكندرية هم:

يوسف عز الدين عيسى
أحمد عثمان
سيف وانلي
بالإضافة لأحتضانها للعديد من المواقع الأثرية مثل طابية النحاسين والتي تعتبر أقدم الحصون الدفاعية التي أنشأها محمد علي .و تضم أيضا البرج الشرقي الواقع داخل مبني استاد الإسكندرية و صهريج ابن النبيه الذي يقع تحت الأرض بالمنطقة ،فضلا عن البرج العربي الموجود بالمنطقة

Waterfall Gardens
Our journey today takes us to one of Alexandria's most important and prominent landmarks... the Waterfall Gardens, designed by the American landscape architect Frederick Law Olmsted in 1899. It was named after the artificial waterfalls that once graced the grounds, covering an area of 40 acres, 22 of which are in the coastal waterfalls and 18 in the inland waterfalls.
The Waterfall Gardens are located at the beginning of Fouad Street in the Latin Quarter of Alexandria, one of the city's most prestigious neighborhoods, near Bab Sharq (Eastern Gate).
The gardens also contain the remains of towers, cisterns, and the ancient wall of Alexandria. The gardens are divided into five sections, each named after a prominent figure in Alexandria's art and culture:

Biram al-Tunisi
Youssef Ezz El-Din Issa
Ahmed Othman
Seif Wanly
In addition, the gardens encompass several archaeological sites, such as the Nahasin Fort, considered one of the oldest defensive fortifications built by Muhammad Ali. They also include the Eastern Tower, located within the Alexandria Stadium complex, the Ibn al-Nabih Cistern (located underground), and the Arab Tower.
